This alligator was laying across the river. He was big so I got my tape measure out and I measured him from the tip of his tail to the tip of his nose. He measured 10 foot 9 1/2 inches long. If you doubt his size I can tell you where he’s at and you can measure for yourself.

This little guy was sitting on the side of the road in a little pond. The lighting wasn’t very good, it was overcast. But I think it turned out all right. He was quite patient and waited until I got set up and took all the pictures I wanted before scurrying off.
